Alhamdulillah, I completed a statistical course from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine last week. Overall the trip was uneventful. A straight forward trip. Booked everything online. And everything was in order. The distance from President Hotel to LSHTM was as expected. The temperature was a bit cold for me but manageable. It was around 12-16°C. The daytime was short. At 5PM, it was already dark. The people were nice. London really a multicultural city. In my class, participants came from various parts of the world. But I didn’t see any Australian or New Zealand though. Singaporean, Thailand, German, Italian, French, Belgium etc…. I was the only Malaysian.
Walking in London is pretty fun. I love walking early morning around the city. I walked from Russel Square along Oxford Street to Hyde Park, then to Green Park, Buckingham Palace, to the Old Palace Yard, across Thames, Waterloo, Big Ben….Trafalgar Square, and walked back to Russel Square.
These are some pictures from the trip.
