Went partially prepared. Not enough time to train after Mt Rinjani expedition. Completed the 168KM ride in 5:58 hours. Worse than last year despite a better route. Suffered horrible cramp from KM 100. Maybe because I pushed too hard in the first 60KM. Should have rode at circa 32-34 kmh only.

We went to Ipoh with a double decker bus this time. A bit inconvenience because we didn’t stay at the hotel & the bus was too big to manoeuvres the small roads to the homestays at Kg Manjoi.

Overall CRM was as usual a spectacular event especially when this time, a new record of 1800 roadies from all over Malaysia & overseas participated. The registration process was a bit chaotic. I spent 2 hours trying to register almost 40 of our us. I thought group registration was easier.

I will surely come again next year.

For the time being, I must prepare for the Chiang Mai ride in August (after raya) & Terengganu century Ride in September.
