Project Silkroad 2010

Another extraordinary idea…..from Jasni….He asked me to start a topic about this trip. I can’t really say whether this idea will eventually materialised but I found one itinerary from the net to begin the discussion…

Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
Day 2-3 Self-tour in Beijing
Day 4 Fly from Beijing to Urumqi City
Day 5 Fly from Urumqi CIty to Kashgar Region, Karakul Lake and the Oytag Valley of the Kunlun Mountains
Day 6 Self-tour Idkah Mosque and Tomb of Fragrant Imperial Concubine in Kashgar
Day 7 SUNDAY Kashgar Grand Bazaar and go to Kuqa (Kuche) Region
Day 8 Kezier Thousand Buddhist Caves and Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon
Day 9 Kuqa–Korla–Turpan, Emin tower & mosque, Norbu Village and Taklimakan Desert
Day 10 Turpan– Urumqi, the Ancient City of Jiaohe, Flaming Mountain, Karez Well and Gr***Valley
Day 11 Heaven Lake of Celestial Mountains, Urumqi–Dunhuang City
Day 12 Mogao Caves and Booming Sand Dune & Crescent Spring
Day 13 Dunhuang City– Xi’an City
Day 14 The Old City Wall, Shaanxi Provincial Museum and Grand Wild Goose Pagoda
Day 15 The Terra Cotta Soldiers, Huaqing Hot Springs Park, and Banpo, an old Neolithic (and possibly matriarchal) village, Xi’an City–Beijing
Day 16 Self-tour in Beijing
Day 17 Fly home.

I think we need 20 days for this project. Not sure about the budget yet. I would say less than 5K per person.

there is no direct flight to beijing by airasia. hopefully airasia-x would fly there soon. basically, we cover the silk road in china rite? am i rite?

Ntah…I know nothing about Beijing or Silkroad. Main copy paste aje…..nanti lah…kene research kemudian. Now concentrate benda lain dulu.

Baru nih ada sorang photog KL present pasal travel kat China ngan budget RM1700…. kalau travel by train… dan naik Air Asia ke Macau… insyallah budget lingkungan itu…
